Elizabeth Christian & Associates Public Relations is a firm specializing in local, statewide, and national projects involving public affairs, media relations, and legislative and grassroots projects.
We redesigned this site to have a more contemporary, professional look and feel. Their original site was looking a little 'dated' and the client wanted something more modern, yet refined. After examining the client and its base of custumers, we realized that this firm is a prominent public relations firm in the state of Texas. However, we felt that that their original site failed to accurately portray this.
One of the main requirements that the client had was to have a site that would be easy to edit in the future. They wanted to be able to make simple changes in-house, by their own staff, without having to call on the designer for every liitle change that needed to be made to the site. We worked closely with the client and together we were able to come up with something that was more appropriate for the firm and its clients, and yet be easily modified. We built the site with what we call a "modular" approach to coding-where a lot of the sections of the site are 'self contained'-making it easy for the client to edit the site by simply copying and pasting with minor changes. In the end, we came up with a solution that is clean, modern, and professional.
